We have an exciting event happening at the Museum in less than two weeks. Since most of you who read this Blog are interested in animals, our animals, and animal keeping, this event might be perfect for you.
On Monday, December 1 from 7-9pm you can join us for A Night Among Wolves with Helen Thayer. Helen is an amazing woman who has walked across the Sahara, trekked to the magnetic North Pole, and lived with indigenous people of the Amazon – just to name a few adventures. She has appeared on Good Morning America and the Today Show and in National Geographic and Reader’s Digest. She will be at the Museum for one night only to speak about her six-month experience living 100-feet from a wolf den in the Canadian Yukon.
We will couple this with information about the Museum’s new red wolf pair and our part in their survival. The evening will conclude with a book signing and flashlight tour to the Museum’s wolf den with Keeper Marilyn. After-hours, special tour down to the wolf exhibit…I’m in!
